The Liebster Award

I found out last week (on the 1-month anniversary of my blog, to be exact) that I was nominated for a Liebster Award! The Liebster Award recognizes newbie bloggers with less than 200 followers who are growing their blog. I was nominated by Kara from Chasing Zoie. I’ve fallen in love with her blog and I’m sure you will too!

How did you decide on the name of your blog and what did it come from?

It’s a wordplay on the 1991 movie starring Sally Field, Not Without My Daughter

Where does your blogging inspiration come from?

My daily life; work, family, friends and everything in between.

What is it that you love most about blogging?

I love writing about topics that I’m interested in and connecting with other bloggers.

What is your favorite food?

I love a variety of food but definitely prefer more flavorful foods like Mexican and Thai, mmm…

What is your favorite thing to drink (alcoholic or not)?

Coffee, wine, Coca-cola (don’t judge me).

What is an item you cannot live without?

Currently I’m obsessed with tea tree oil.

What are eleven random facts about yourself?

1. I hate being tickled

It would be a combination of the East Coast, Europe and the Caribbean with lots of travel thrown in.

What is your favorite outdoor activity?

Running and being at the beach.

Out of debt, self-employed and traveling with my little tribe
